Itinerary:

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to Maasai Mara via the scenic Rift Valley.

Arrive at your lodge/camp in time for lunch and some relaxation.

Afternoon game drive in Maasai Mara, searching for the Big Five and witnessing the migration (seasonal).

Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge / Ashnil Mara Camp / Basecamp Mara.

Day 2: Full Day Maasai Mara

Early morning game drive for a chance to see predators in action.

Return for breakfast and then continue with a full-day game drive with picnic lunch.

Visit the Mara River to witness wildebeest crossings (seasonal) and explore the savannah.

Optional Maasai village visit ($20 per person, paid on-site).

Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge / Ashnil Mara Camp / Basecamp Mara.

Day 3: Full Day Maasai Mara

Another full day of game drives exploring different parts of Maasai Mara.

Optional hot air balloon safari in the morning ($450 per person, booked in advance).

Enjoy lunch at a scenic spot in the reserve.

Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge / Ashnil Mara Camp / Basecamp Mara.

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru

Early morning game drive before breakfast.

Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch.

Afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru, home to flamingos, rhinos, and other wildlife.

Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge / Flamingo Hill Camp.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha – Nairobi

Early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru (optional).

Depart for Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch.

Afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha to see hippos and birdlife.

Optional Crescent Island walking safari ($33 per person, child $16, paid on-site).

Drive back to Nairobi, arriving by evening.
