Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most popular tourism destinations in Kenya- Africa. The reserve is located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland.
The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November.
There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 birds species recorded on the reserve. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino).
Depart for a scenic drive down into the Rift Valley, to Masai Mara, Kenya’s world reknowned game reserve. Stop en route at the Great Rift Valley for the stunning views. Arrive before lunch. The afternoon game drives allows spotting of the unrivaled wildlife in the park. Dinner and overnight at one of the Lodge.
You enjoy a whole day of game drive today. You may also choose you have a full day game drive with a packed picnic lunch or go back to the lodge for lunch. Return is in the evening for dinner and overnight at the lodge.
You enjoy your final game drive in the Mara followed by breakfast and departure for Nairobi after early morning game drive and breakfast. Lunch will be enroute.
